Hey, you know Ridesharingforum.com has always said here that in Texas, you gotta go big, or go home. So, DoorDash has added Austin as one of the six exciting cities for the expansion of Flavor Fest.
DoorDash’s Flavor Fest is a digital, restaurant-week-style promotion designed to support local independent restaurants, running until August 23rd in select cities. So, if there’s fashion week, there’s restaurant week!
Flavor Fest offers customers 30 percent off their orders of $15 or more, up to an $8 maximum discount from participating restaurants featured directly on the official DoorDash app.
The participating cities are Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, Houston, Miami, and Tampa.
In Austin, the newly-added city, the participating restaurants are Tumble 22, Gatti’s Pizza, la Madeleine, Hattie B’s Hot Chicken, Pinthouse Pizza, Taco Palenque, Tacodeli, Cotton Patch Cafe, Two Hands, Veracruz, Tarka, The Salty, and so much more. So, this is your big chance to try the food in these cities if you haven’t, at lower prices.
Company and city officials, including the mayor, have gathered in Leona in South Austin recently to invite residents to join Flavor Fest, helping restaurants experiencing a summer slowdown.
“I’m happy to be part of pushing these local restaurants through Flavor Fest,” the office of the mayor stated.
Until August 23rd, you can use the DoorDash app for special deals for restaurants, with up to 30 percent off eligible orders.
DoorDash is investing over $6 million in consumer offers, promotions, and advertising for these six cities.
DoorDash connects customers with local restaurants, grocery stores, and other businesses through its app or website. Users browse available options, select items, place orders, and choose delivery preferences. Merchants prepare the orders, while Dashers pick them up and deliver them to customers, with order tracking available throughout the process.
