Giant Tiger is now with DoorDash and Uber Eats to make a more lasting presence in Canada!

This partnership is expected to provide speedy and rapid home delivery services that can deliver Giant Tiger’s goods in, get this, within just one hour!
Established in 1961, Giant Tiger is a Canadian discount store chain known for offering low prices on a variety of products. Their branding is so niche that they almost don’t have competition around.
The fruition of the partnership is now accessible in over 200 Giant Tiger locations across Canada. This enables you to buy a comprehensive array of products, such as groceries – where those partner platforms excel at – health and beauty items, household goods, and apparel.
“At Giant Tiger, we’re committed to helping Canadians save both time and money. By offering same-day delivery at in-store pricing, we’re making our wide selection of everyday essentials, including our exclusive private label brands and Made in Canada products, more accessible than ever, stated Simon Rodrigue, Giant Tiger’s strategy and supply chain senior vice-president and chief digital officer.
Rodrigue added that Canadians are always looking for easier and more convenient ways to shop, so this is a move to expand the brands’ digital offerings that meet the demands of the customers.
“Building on our successful partnership with Instacart, DoorDash, and Uber Eats allows us to bring even more convenience to our customers in the communities we proudly serve, while staying true to our promise of delivering unbeatable value as Canada’s place to save,” he added.
This move is part of the Canadian discount store’s adaptation to market trends and customer preferences for faster and more convenient shopping experiences. This also aligns with its commitment to provide Canada’s people with consistent value.
Giant Tiger now serves the Canadian provinces of Alberta, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, and Saskatchewan.
You can now start to access the service via the DoorDash or Uber Eats apps.
Uber Eats Canada’s grocery and retail head, Klaas Knieriem noted. “We’re proud to welcome Giant Tiger to the Uber Eats platform, giving Canadians even more affordable options for groceries and household essentials.”
