Lyft has rolled out improved safety features to protect its passengers. These include new tools such as real-time location sharing, sound recordings, and stronger background checks. The goal is to provide riders with better control and security across their journey.
The Women+ Connect feature
These features are part of their Women+ Connect capability, which is a female-only driver option for female and non-binary passengers.
“We’re driving change one ride at a time. Now, women and nonbinary drivers can turn on Women+ Connect to increase their chances of matching with more women and nonbinary riders,” Lyft’s newsroom stated.
