First-Time Boston Trip: Hotel, Food, and Neighborhood Tips Needed

Hi everyone I work in Worcester and my friends and I are planning our first trip to Boston, but we are a bit lost on whats best to do or where to stay. We’re thinking of a 7-day trip and want to keep it budget-friendly but also stay somewhere comfortable. From what I have seen, Boston has so many great neighborhoods, and choosing the right hotel can really make a difference. If we want to be close to shopping, restaurants, and historic sites, staying in Back Bay or Downtown seems convenient, with plenty of hotels that are comfortable and well-located. For a modern vibe and waterfront views, the Seaport District looks nice, especially if we want to try good food and walk along the Harbor. Quieter areas like Cambridge also sound interesting if we want a more local feel while still being close to the main attractions. I have checked some hotels and transport options on Google things like Blue Nile Livery and Metrowest Car Service came up but I am still confused about which ones are better and a bit nervous about planning everything for the trip. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s been to Boston are there any hotels, food spots, or hidden gems you’d recommend for first-time visitors like us, and which transport options work best to get around the city easily?
