T-Mobile, one of the country’s biggest mobile network providers – as well as the first and the largest 5G network nationwide – had partnered with several huge companies and organizations, too. These include Salesforce, Nokia, and even fashion events.
This time, it is adding a new partner on this list, and it’s going to blow your mind away. That’s DoorDash.
Starting July 8th, T-Mobile is offering a free subscription – yes, for free – to DoorDash’s DashPass.
DashPass pertains to DoorDash’s subscription service that offers members $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees provided that they will make eligible orders from participating restaurants. This is being seen as a way for frequent DoorDash users to save money on the costs of deliveries.
This offer is available for new and existing customers, which makes it exciting.
Normally, the service costs $10 monthly, including the free delivery and reduced service fees. Now, things are leveling up.
Those eligible for the promo in terms of the plan include those using T-Mobile One, Magenta, and Go5G plans, according to a Facebook post from the T-Mobile community. Those with these plans will receive DashPass with no extra cost, including free deliveries and exclusive DoorDash discounts, usually valued at a whopping $120 per year.
T-Mobile announced this good news during a livestreaming event earlier this week, alongside details for its T-Satellite service, which is aimed to eliminate wireless dead zones across hundreds of thousands of miles of territories nationwide gasping for air for traditional mobile coverage. Can DoorDash help in this instance?
T-Mobile’s chief executive officer Mike Sievert couldn’t hide his happiness over these milestones.
“This day has been decades in the making,” he told ridesharing media.
However, the reactions of netizens are priceless. Some praised this development, while others are too naughty. Netizen Donna Suggs commented on Facebook, “DoorDash doesn’t even come to my area.”
