It may sound like an irony, but yes, DoorDash is helping you reserve tables for dine-in. A delivery app for dine-in? Interesting.
DoorDash Reservations is an in-app feature that allows you to reserve tables at restaurants for dine-in, revolutionizing the delivery app into a full dining concierge, letting you discover and book hard-to-get tables with rewards like credits for future orders, very valuable too for DashPass members.
This in-app feature aims to connect diners with various restaurants, support local venues, and offer exclusive experiences, expanding the role of DoorDash beyond just food deliveries.
Recently, DoorDash Reservations launched in Miami, so that locals could easily gain access to the destination’s most preferred restaurants, as well as discover exclusive dining experiences not found elsewhere.
Collaboration with Casadonna
But, since this is in Miami, it’s got to be glamorous. DoorDash has collaborated with Italian restaurant Casadonna, a Miami mainstay for elevated and design-forward dining.
The campaign, titled “The Sand CastleDonna” – a witty take on the restaurant – is a life-size sandcastle restaurant pop-up, like your cave restaurants.
The feeling is like walking into that Aladdin sand dimension where he got the lamp, or into Cleopatra’s world in Egypt.
“We are absolutely thrilled to partner with Casadonna – a true leader in Miami’s upscale, design-forward dining scene – to bring ‘The Sand CastleDonna’ to life,” stated Parisa Sadrzadeh, the In-Store Deputy of DoorDash. “This magnificent pop-up is all about delivering an unforgettable, luxury experience that our diners simply won’t find anywhere else. DoorDash Reservations is proud to be the exclusive gateway to moments like these, connecting our community with the city’s most coveted and unique dining experiences.”
Guests may reserve exclusive via the official DoorDash app between December 11th and 14th to enjoy a delicious multi-course meal. Booking through DoorDash Reservations offers this for free, that’s right.
The menu features a complimentary three-course lunch or a four-course dinner featuring the signature coastal Italian dishes of Casadonna. Meanwhile, the vibe is high-end-dining-meets-effortless-luxury in the heart of Jungle Plaza in the Miami Design District.
Here are more information on reserving your table. Daily during those dates, new reservations will drop on the DoorDash official app. It actually started on December 5th and will run continuously until December 10th.
