Wondering how the economies and the skyscrapers of the most progressive cities on this planet were built? Like New York City, Paris, Milan, Dubai, Tokyo, and Seoul? Thank you to the talented mathematicians, these dreams became possible.
Did you know that each time March 14th falls, Pi Day is celebrated? The Ridesharing Forum team did not know that at first! So here it is sharing this insight with you!
Pi Day is what you think it is, a celebration of pi, whose value is 3.14 in mathematics. Witty, isn’t it?
Welcome to Pi Day 2026!
It recognizes the mathematical constant of pi, whose first three digits are 3.14.
In mathematics, pi is the ratio between the circumference of a circle and its diameter, and this concept has been known for almost 4,000 years! In 2000 BC, the Egyptians and the Babylonians used this formula to construct.
Famous mathematics that used this figure include Archimedes, Fibonacci, François Viète, Adriaan van Roomen, and Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz. They all calculated pi by various methods. The symbol was only introduced in the 18th century.
Apart from celebrating the mathematical formula, things got even wittier because it also sounds like “pie day”! Yes, so all things pies, not just pizza pies, but apple pies, pineapple pies, coconut pies, and so much more.
Ignoring the unbecoming restaurant closures
In spite of the planned restaurant closures in the United States, DoorDash has partnered with national pizza chains to offer not just simply discounts, but a series of discounts for Pi Day this March 14th. Consumers nationwide can gain access to Buy One Get One Free deals and Dollar-Off discounts via the DoorDash official app.
They say Pizza Hut is closing in the West, but it is joining this deal. It will offer BOGO deals on medium or large Create Your Own pizzas. It is exclusively available on March 14th.
Meanwhile, for Sbarro, there will be $4 off on eligible orders of $20 and above starting March 14th. This discount is longer, though, as it is running to April 6th. If you are a member of DashPass, higher discounts can be availed. Just look around on Google for more details.
Discounts of this kind are also available on Blaze Pizza, particularly on the 11-inch Simple Pie cheese pizzas. This promo runs until April 6th.
You may access these deals on the DoorDash app starting this March 14th, with some more deals extended until April 6th. That’s like spring break taken higher, as Ally Brooke would sing. Let’s sign up for that account on this Ridesharing Forum website to join the discussion!
