Guess which team is Lyft together this time! It’s no other than Disneyland! As you know, resorts of The Walt Disney Company in various areas of the globe always guarantee the best experiences for its guests, especially families. So, aside from the theme park itself, shops, and dining locations, Disneyland resorts also have hotels within the park itself, such as Good Neighbor Hotels in California.
Disney’s Good Neighbor Hotels are off-property, third-party-managed hotels that are vetted and approved by the Disney Studios management to still meet certain quality, comfort, and service standards. These accommodations offer a trusted, more budget-friendly alternative to official Disney-themed hotels. It does not mean these Good Neighbor Hotels are unofficial. It’s that those who wish to experience living within tisneyland’s grounds without needing to take the train, or taxi to the theme park, but with limited budget, can experience these things, too.
Disneyland Resort has partnered with Lyft, a leading ridesharing app, to offer discounts and perks for guests getting around the area of Disneyland and the hotel.
These guests will be provided convenient transportation options to and from the hotel, in other words between the Disneyland Resort vicinity and the hotel area, thereby enhancing the overall guest experiences with flexible, on-demand transportations.
Brand-new Lyft passengers may use the code 50MAGIC to get as much as 50 percent off two rides. While, existing Lyft passengers may redeem the coupon code XL10 for a whopping 10 percent off one XL ride to the parks. This promo is up until September 8th this year.
To offer you a background on this, last March 31st, Anaheim Transportation Network, which had served millions of riders each year, ceased their operations. For several years, this transport system was used by several Disneyland Resort guests as a convenient way to move around the Anaheim Resort area.
Now, to make up for the void left by the network’s closure, Disneyland teamed up with Lyf to offer the most convenient transportation options to guests staying at Good Neighbor Hotels.
At this time of research and writing, neither Disneyland nor Lyft released their official statements on this matter, but perhaps this is your chance to be heard!
