Over around a month since the news broke that 90s celebrity Danny Pintauro is now working for Amazon Flex, the story re-surfaced, and he’s quite delighted that it’s become talk of the town! Ridesharing Forum is flattered.
In a report here previously, the former child actor and 1990s TV actor for the sitcom “Who’s the Boss?” shared snippets on Instagram how he’s now delivering for Amazon Flex.
Saying he believes he needs to work harder amidst the challenges in the entertainment industry, he explained, “The entertainment business has been soooo slow, so I’ve been doing what a lot of people do – figuring it out, showing up, and taking the work that’s there while I keep building the work I really want. 38 packages today! There’s no shame in staying in motion, Working hard while ‘not working’.”
The picture that he shared is that of himself inside a car filled with packages.
Weeks later, fresh reports came out, proof of how the story has been talked-about much online.
In his interview with Fox News, he stated he “did not expect the photo to become anything, especially not as big of a story as it has become."
Ridesharing Forum says, it will really become a big story, since a celebrity driving for Amazon Flex, or the work of ordinary people, is always an interesting piece.
“I’m not surprised that the more curious, of course, there’s always been this sort of fascination with actors working regular jobs and sort of people reading into that, and a lot of times it’s sort of looked at as like a downfall, but I think we’ve moved away from that,” Pintauro chatted with the media outlet.
He also loved how people really felt connected to the story.
He added that he feels “like people have really connected to the story, which I really love, but I think that that connection is partly because we all know what it means to do what we’ve got to do, especially in this economy, at this time.”
And, the 1990s actor isn’t doing this to gain attention, or seek fame, but it’s a practical move to take, especially since the cost of living has increased over the years, he further noted.
“We’ve all got to do multiple jobs, we’ve all got to work in any way we can to sort of make sure that we provide for ourselves and for our families," he remarked.
Pintauro, who starred in “Who’s the Boss?” – a show from the 1980s to the 90s – as Jonathan Bower, working alongside with Judith Light, Tony Danza, and Alyssa Milano, among others, hopes to become an inspiration for more celebrities who are afraid to take jobs that ordinary people do, because of their status, since they’ll never know where fate will take them.
