Scheduling on Careem Food
Last November, Careem announced a brand-new feature, Scheduling on Careem Food.
“We’re excited to introduce Scheduling on Careem Food, a simpler and smarter way to plan your meals hours or even days in advance. Whether it’s planning your daily lunch before the meetings pile up, or setting the scene for a cosy at-home dinner with friends, this feature makes it a breeze,” Careem’s newsroom official stated. “Plan your meals ahead, and we’ll deliver them right on time, every time.”
Here’s how it works. In two ways. First, you can “Plan Ahead,” by tapping the “Schedule” button on your restaurant page to choose the date and time that works best for you. From there, simply build your order.
Or, you may “Decide at Checkout.” If you choose this option, you must add items to your basket as per usual, and simply select “Schedule” upon checkout.
The Careem team created this feature for they noticed a pattern, that rush hours could delay the receiving of your orders.
The team reiterated, “Life is busy, and in those moments, deciding what to eat can feel like another task on a long to-do list. We heard from customers that they wanted a way to get ahead of the hunger.”
