Car and Driver Requirements for Postmates, DoorDash, UberEats, Amazon Flex and Deliv

It seems that Uber started a new phase in transportation development, the online logistics service provided by private citizens AKA Rideshare. The new era of delivery has opened up quite some opportunities and what was once considered a second-rate form of income is now becoming the hottest job to have.

Amazon Flex

Amazon Flex is a parcel delivery service that hires car owners as independent contractors and then assigns them shifts of three to four hours. The drivers pick up their deliveries from a logistics center and deliver them according to the Flex app directions.

Summary

All the above companies, apart from UberEats are minimum risk companies, this means that you do not deliver a passenger and do not need to have commercial or ride-share friendly insurance coverage.

UberEats is the only company that is part of a larger network, and most of the UberEats drivers come from UberX since it is an immediate match for them to deliveries during slow passenger periods.
