Sounds like a high school musical, or rather, college musical!
The University of Utah’s newsroom official has published a new report, and Ridesharing Forum would love to echo it here!
Beginning this springtime semester, Grubhub, a famous food delivery app, is now in-charge of the takeout ordering system for on-campus dining in the university.
This makes it ever more possible for students to access better-tasting meals and food they will actually love.
Sean Grube, the deputy associate for housing and dining programs in the university, told the Ridesharing Forum team, “The satisfaction of our students, faculty, and staff is our priority and offering them the best service is top of mind. This partnership with Grubhub will make the mobile ordering experience on campus quick and easy, using an app that users probably already have on their phones.”
The University of Utah joins the list of several other universities and schools that have partnered with famous food delivery platforms.
For students to use Grubhub for takeout orders, they simply need to download the Grubhub app, log in using their account information, and start using.
Meanwhile, in their Accounting Settings, they would need to click on Campus Dining, look for The University of Utah.
After connecting with the University of Utah, proceed to Payment Settings, tap “Add new payment,” enable the UCard, and log in using your CIS credentials. You’re set!
Plus, there are also coupons to enjoy. Redeem the code FIRSTBITE50 to get as much as 50 percent discounts, that’s right 50 percent discounts on your first on-campus pickup order. This is valid for not only students, but also faculty and staff. The maximum discount is $7.
You may also receive a free Grubhub+ membership for unlimited $0 delivery fees, no credit card required, no strings attached, and these are free for students through graduation. However, this is valid only on eligible orders that meet the minimum subtotal.
Before this surprise, users at the U, the nickname of The University of Utah, could only order food from Dining Services by downloading a certain app. This time, users could get their favorite food for consumption in school from famous restaurants. That’s incredible!
