Amazon Flex Reaffirms Their Features To Enhance Your Experience

Amazon Flex has also been a generous program that helps ordinary people who own cars make the most use of those vehicles to deliver packages to customers who’ve purchased goods via the Amazon platform.

Flex allows you to deliver packages bought from Amazon using your own car, making it a viable opportunity to earn extra income on your own schedule. For instance, you’ve just clocked out of your eight-to-five job. A few hours before you go home, you can log in to Amazon Flex to deliver packages for people.

Via the Amazon Flex app, you can look for delivery blocks in your vicinity, view how much you earn, and see how long the drive will take to the block or address. Once you’ve accepted a block, you must first pick up packages at an Amazon location – just like how a regular Amazon driver does – then take them to customers by referring to the app’s navigation. It’s very easy to accomplish.

Now, Amazon Flex is developing and improving its features to further enhance your experience. Prior to the previous weekend, Amazon Flex shared on its official blog page its two offer types, Blocks and Instant Offers, that allow delivery partners to earn more.

“We understand that you want to make the most of your time on the road, which is why Amazon Flex has two offer types for delivery partners to earn: ‘blocks’ that you can schedule in advance, and ‘instant offers’ that start right away,” Amazon Flex said on its blog. “We’re excited to make it even easier to find instant offers with a new interactive map experience in the Amazon Flex app that shows you exactly where delivery opportunities are available in your area.”

Amazon Flex Blocks

Basically, these Amazon Flex Blocks allow you to plan your schedule and work in advance. They are perfect when you wish to still work on deliveries while managing your time and priorities.

Under this feature, deliveries are organized into certain “blocks” of time that usually span between three and five hours, and may be available for up to three days before they start.

For this particular type of offer, you can see expected earnings, date of delivery, start time, pickup location, and estimated duration before you schedule anything.

Amazon Flex Instant Offers

Then, there are the Amazon Flex Instant Offers, which allow you to complete deliveries right away. These are amazing ways to earn quickly when you still do not have a scheduled block.

These instant offers are usually grocery deliveries that start when you accept an offer.

However, note that instant offers vary in length, with an average expected delivery time of about an hour and 30 minutes. You can immediately see the route and estimated mileage, as well as the pickup location, earnings information, start time, and estimated duration. It’s up to you whether you want to process the delivery.

And Amazon Flex is continually improving those features. For instance, on Instant Offers, if there’s a participating location where you are, you will now see an “Online” option on the Offers screen of the Flex app. Simply toggle this option to begin seeing available instant offers, but be sure you are within three to 15 minutes of the pick-up location to receive the best instant offer.

Once an opportunity becomes available, the app will notify you. After viewing the offer, simply swipe “Accept” to start delivering.

Remember, though, that these offers are sent to just a single delivery partner at a time, so you only have around a minute to accept the offer from the time it was offered to you. There’s a learning curve here, but it’s never steep.
