Some people are just mean and insecure and you definitely can’t take any of your ideas of self worth from them. They need to be put out on the side of the road in time out.
My daughter is a cancer survivor/victor, after her hair grew back she decided no chemicals and wears it natural and is beautiful. That was very insensitive.
My grandmother actually did the same thing. She went through chemo in 2007 and when it started growing back she had this cute tapered almost pixie cut hair. She’s old fashioned and wouldn’t have ever tried natural.
How was it offensive other than to the person who shared her story. I think these are some of the things that this group should share . It was no reason she or anyone else should have to go through this
