I agree. I do have candy, sometimes, but I have to have something because some fool had something extra.

For the drivers who Use Uber/Lyft for referral business essentially. Build your clientele up, never worry again about the headaches. No more nasty grams via texts or emails. You can charge the same or more for your service. I currently have one company who calls me for their staff especially for airport runs. Normally would be 25 average wo surges… I charge 50 each way I’m there waiting for them and they never have to worry about a no show. Use your heads and there won’t be many complainers on here… Geeze…

I only open the door for the elderly. I load luggage for efficiencies sake and to reduce the chance of damage to my vehicle. I carry no snacks or water. But enjoy people and can engage most in an entertaining conversation. I only drive days M-F because I don’t want to deal with idiots and I seem to do alright with this as a fulltime gig.
