Lyft permits me to pick up anywhere in King county, Pierce county and on the peninsula in western Washington. Uber only lets me pick up on the peninsula.
Anyone know why the difference?
I am not sure about the situation. I am able to pickup in Tacoma now. It was halted for a year or so. No Uber reports to Tacoma city and they sent me a bill of $25 for the City of Tacoma permit. At this time we are allowed to pick up in Tacoma or pierce county. We are also allowed to pick up in Everette also. These are the only places I know we can pick up. For clearing up the whole picture you have to email Uber customer service or give them a call on the phone number they have provided.
